In my years of being a technology teacher, I have seen technology evolve in size, speed, interactivity and mobility. I have been blessed to be able to learn as I teach, because there is nothing constant about technology but change. My goal here is a compilation of information I have found helpful, inspiring and fun.
Innovation
Technology provides us with an endless array of information for teaching and learning. Don't reinvent the wheel!! Using keywords of your lesson, search for information that is already created for you. You should be able to fiind at the least a template you can use to build upon to teach the concept you are imparting on your students.

Collaboration
Something that I have really come to appreciate through my years in the technology education field is collaborating with knowledgeable people in that field.
The Texas Computer Educator Association (TCEA) is a one-of-a-kind place to find people that are amazing in some facet of technology in the classroom, be it Project Based Learning, flipping the classroom, or just basically using various tecnologies in the cassroom well.

Mobility
We all have the ability, whether we want it or not, to communicate and even learn on the run. Phones and tablets give us control over our world like never before in history.
A 1:1 program (like we have at CISD) allows our students to create, evaluate and synthesize knowledge in a way we couldn't even dream back in the day when I was in school.
